Inv£storQuest: The £1m Business Challenge

This challenge is exclusively for innovative technology or science entrepreneurs in the Yorkshire and Humberside region and offers access to £1 million of investment from a group of associated venture capital funds. The aim of the challenge is to encourage people with a bright idea seeking early-stage funding and business support to put their ideas forward. It's worth being bold and having a go.
Selected companies will have the chance to step up to the hot spot and present their business proposition to a panel of four investment funds interested in early stage opportunities at our ‘Red Carpet Day’. There are four funds involved including YFM Group, The Viking Fund and South Yorkshire Investment Fund each of whom will provide £x into any viable proposition presented to them through InvestorQuest.
All applicants to Inv£storQuest will receive practical feedback on their propositions along with appropriate referrals to business support programmes. Those who are successful and progress to the ‘Red Carpet Day’ will receive help in honing their pitch from Connect Yorkshire’s pool of top business advisors prior to that critical first meeting with the investors.
Inv£storQuest brings to the fore the entrepreneurial spirit of those keen to take chances in order to achieve their aspirations. If you have a great idea that just needs funding to get off the ground please fill in an application form.
