Selected companies will have the chance to step up to the hot spot and present their business proposition to a panel of four investment funds interested in early stage opportunities at our 'Red Carpet Day'. The four funds involved are the Viking Fund, Enterprise Venture's Rising Stars Fund, YFM Group and the South Yorkshire Investment Fund's Seedcorn Fund each of whom are willing to put up to £250,000 into any viable proposition presented to them through InvestorQuest.

Not only will finalists get to pitch to the investment Funds, but each of the four best propositions, deemed so by the judges, will win one consultancy support package to the value of £1000 from one of the four sponsors above - a group of top business professionals - with specialities in Accountancy, Law, Patents and Trade marks and Marketing. As they say: nothing ventured, nothing gained.

All applicants to InvestorQuest will receive practical feedback on their propositions along with appropriate referrals to business support programmes. Those who are successful and progress to the Red Carpet Day will receive free support and advice in honing their pitch from the four InvestorQuest sponsors prior to that critical first meeting with the investors.
